The Extension may access the following information strictly for functional purposes:
- URLs of websites you visit (used only to detect technologies in real-time)
- Color values picked using the EyeDropper API
- Locally saved preferences or history (via Chrome's local storage)
2. How We Use Information
All data collected is used exclusively for core features:
- Detecting technologies used on visited websites
- Storing color picker history or user preferences locally
- Providing a consistent user experience across sessions
No data is ever transmitted, sold, shared, or stored on external servers.
3. Data Storage & Retention
All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome’s `storage.local` API. You can clear this data at any time via Chrome’s extension settings.
4. Permissions Justification
The Extension requests the following Chrome permissions solely for its stated functionality:
- scripting: Inject scripts to analyze website technologies or run the EyeDropper
- activeTab / tabs: Access the currently active site URL and page content
- clipboardWrite: Copy the picked color code to your clipboard
- storage: Save preferences or color history locally
- history (if enabled): Detect technology patterns across visited URLs
5. Third-Party Access
This extension does not use any third-party analytics, cookies, or tracking libraries.
